Our Process

Silk Childcare Inc. is a Canadian operated business co-founded by Emma Ghane, Talent Acquisition Specialist, and Alanna Golden, Physician.

This idea grew from a personal need to find Alanna in-home support to allow her to run her busy clinics while her children participate in online schooling.

We were fortunate to find the perfect addition to Alanna's family and with this lockdown, life has felt so much easier having good help in her home. 

So together we decided to offer this service to others. Our job is to recruit and interview qualified independent consultants to work with you and your family. We do the leg work so you don't have to. Our process includes: job postings, resumes reviews, and detailed phone interviews.

Once we are confident we have a great fit, we work with you to arrange an interview (phone or Zoom).

We follow up post-interview with each family and each consultant to assist with questions or next step details.
